Running Fashion?

heh heh

My very first time wearing my new shoes and to get familiar with it, I just ran around the carpark of my home. Put on my purple MPIB run t-shirt to match my purple shoes.

If it's just a short run (anything less than an hour and a half), I'd do a few loops around the apartment's carpark instead of having Zaini send me somewhere. Save petrol.

Weekday nights see me doing loops here too. Much safer than running out of the gates of the apartment. My neighbours and the security guards are all used to me already. Plus, there are actually more residents doing their run around the carpark nowadays too! :)

Anyway, doing loops here is easy. I can just stash my drinks somewhere and not need to carry it around with me. Plus, toilet is near!
New shoes. New running vest. First time wearing a S sized vest. Jamie, I didn't know I can wear an S! I was a bit worried when Jamie passed me the S-sized vest after the first session of GCAM training run at Lake Garden last Saturday, but the red vest fits perfectly! *super like*

FYI, I always go for size "L". o.O

Wore this get-up for a late morning, under-the-hot-sun run on Monday. The compression top-to-bottom wear is to prevent muscle fatigue while I'm doing my long-distance runs. It helps keep my body feeling dry too, as it wicks sweat away from my body and also, as I usually run during late mornings, it does get hot and this outfit help prevent too much "sun-tan" hahaha

One problem with wearing this though - people might actually think I'm a "proper" athlete. wakaka

p.s. you will not see me in this during road races. I usually just wear a comfy tights with my red/orange/pink vest. Normal. Harmless looking. ;p

    1. everything must match color one.. wearing purple shoes so the vest also must be purple.. then you should be buying shoes of all colors, so that you can match them with the bib and the vest with the organizer's official color~~

  4. I recall that wifey and I ran around our old condo's compound but it was a bit small to our liking. Outside the anjings would chase her and not me! So we carried red umbrellas out. When you open them up, the dogs will be shocked of the red monster umbrella and cabut.

    1. I used to be chased by dogs too. Not strays but pet dogs that are let loose by their owners. I really hate irresponsible dog owners and there seems to be a lit of them around. :-S

    2. Bring chocolate during your run and feed the dogs with it, nyek nyek.

    1. As long as it's ok for you. :-)

For us training a lot, shoes may affect whether we get more injuries also. My red Adida shoes that I bought last year has seen 300km as I normally do half marathon and above distance in them. ^_~

  15. Your Zaini is indeed great. He helps you to take all the pictures whenever you run.

    1. He was annoyed when I asked him to take the last photo. It may look like a candid shot but it is not. I had to ask him to retake the photo. TWICE. LOL

Taking my running photos is to help me see and improve my running form. All necessary for training, for me. And I guess I'm lucky Zaini doesn't mind that much to do it. :)
